Amy has been organizing, designing, and coordinating parties and events for over 10 years. Our mission statement is simple, we strive to bring your ideas and imagination to life. We want to take your dreams and make them a dream come true. Our goal is to provide excellent service at a price that does not impact the budget in a way that makes you comprise your vendor choices. Amy Simmons
Owner / Principle Planner
Amy is the owner / principal planner (and name’s sake) at Events by Amy. She is a native of Alabama but has lived all over the country. She is focused, organized, creative, and has a passion for bringing joy into other’s lives. She has over 10 years of experience planning events of all kinds. She specializes in weddings, all things baby and milestone birthdays. However, she has spent time in the corporate world planning corporate events, as well.
Amy recently got remarried and is now helping her daughter plan the wedding of her dreams! In her spare time, she enjoys DIY projects and cooking. Her favorite thing is to see a plan come together and the end results be breathtaking.
Britney Moore
Event Planner
Britney is a lead planner at Events by Amy. She is a native of Alabama and is Amy’s daughter. She is very organized, creative, and a great problem solver. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team. She has coached, choreographed, and organized teams of teenage girls through various competitions. Many would say if you can keep 22 teenage girls on time…you can do anything!
Britney recently got engaged and is currently going through the same process as our clients. This gives her a great advantage to helping our clients bring their vision to life. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends.
